The Miami County ESC is going through changes! One comes from the departure of our current Superintendent, Dave Larson, and the promotion of Director of Student Services, Bethany Whidden, to the role. The other comes as Melinda Hoffert, our Director of HR, plans to depart for Washington state this coming August. We wish Dave and Melinda the best of luck on the next phase of their journeys—take the Miami County ESC spirit with you everywhere you go!
As a result of these transitions and changes, we now have two Director positions open to application: Director of Student Services and Director of Human Resources. These two positions play a key role in the leadership and guidance of our organization.

Along with the two directorial positions, we are opening up recruitment for additional Preschool and K-12 Intervention Specialist roles. Intervention Specialists work closely in the classroom with students with behavioral and emotional needs. They collaborate with our supervisors and paraprofessionals in their classroom to provide a supportive and productive learning environment for our students.
