GIFTED & TALENTED EDUCATION
Gifted students are unique, and have academic and social/emotional needs that differ from typical age-mates. Gifted Services are provided to support districts in their efforts to meet the needs of gifted students.
Services:
Identify gifted students - individual and small group assessment
Assist with student placements/scheduling
Written Education Plans (WEPs)
Professional Development
Assistance with differentiating curricula to meet the needs of gifted and high-achieving students
Provide instructional resources
Program planning and evaluation
Facilitate Academic Acceleration
Consultation with classroom teachers, parents, and gifted students
Assist with gifted data (EMIS)
Saturday Enrichment/Student programs
