Mrs. Smith’s class celebrated 100 days of school with some lacing, counting, making trail mix, weighing objects to see which weighed more, and a craft of them at 100 years old. The students also got their own (fake) $100 and could buy whatever they wanted from the class store!
Mrs. Barnishin’s class practiced communication skills and fine motor skills with Mrs. King and Mrs. Francis while making hot chocolate!

Miss. Schlamb’s class was next up to benefit from the grant that SLP Heather Davey wrote and received from the Miami County Foundation for field trips. Miss. Schlamb’s class worked on communication skills while they cooked a sweet treat, planted a flower, & ordered lunch!

SLP Heather Davey wrote and received a grant from the Miami County Foundation for field trips to practice real world communication skills with students. Mrs. Shcherbyna’s class enjoyed a trip to UVCC to build bird houses and eat lunch at The Cornerstone!
