Our Tipp City/Bethel preschool received a grant from Tipp Foundation to update the playground equipment. Having access to quality materials allows for our preschoolers to engage in gross motor play daily that helps to improve balance, strength, and coordination. Mrs. Prenger’s students collect recycling everyday at Troy High School as a part of their vocational experience. They worked extra hard last week since the teachers started their spring cleaning.

Recently Ms. Chastity's class visited Applebee's. This was a culminating activity after working in the class to learn about how to read a menu, make choices, stay in budget, and use our best communication skills.

Mrs. Prenger’s class voted for making candied grapes this week. They worked as a team to shop for the ingredients and make the refreshing treat.
Mrs. Peltier’s class got into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with a fun (and tasty!) science experiment—making green pistachio pudding! The students tested whether it tasted better with white milk or chocolate milk… and the results? Split right down the middle!
Our career connections team recently partnered with the FCCLA students at Miami East High School to create a career exploration experience for students. Over 150 students participated in hands-on activities in 4 industry sectors: business, technology, manufacturing, and healthcare.

It was a great opportunity to speak on the strategies to engage our school districts and businesses in career exploration. From career navigation to engaging our Business Advisory Council (BAC), we are excited to share the important programming being done in workforce development.
